I wanted to gift something special to my sister because she’s getting married this year. I wanted it to be unique and full of my love. With her, everything had to be proper and well organised and somehow, she was losing herself in the myriad of things; from work to organising , budgeting and financing! Sadly, with my low budget and lack of choices in the shops, I had run out of ideas. I made a list of things that I knew she’d love but scratched off half the stuff. I was running out of time and options. So, on a regular Sunday while checking through my Facebook news feed, I saw a Snap Deal advertisement and checked it out.
They had a collection of so many gorgeous clothes, jewellery, make-up, shoes and what not. I fell in love with the jewellery collection and I wanted to buy them all but decided against them as I had never bought anything online and I was sceptical. However, my sister’s wedding was nearing and our mother didn’t let us out in the sun and pollution anymore and all my hopes of buying something special for her were drowned.
I stopped for a minute and downloaded the app. I wanted to get something to surprise her; something that was not under “for the wedding” tag strictly. I wanted it to be something she could try out in the meantime.
I conveyed my distress to my friend and she kept on insisting that I buy her presents online. I told her that I liked the collection that Snap Deal had and she said told me to go ahead with it.I was still nervous about it but I thought to myself “ How do I know I will not like it even before I try it? Things have to start one day and we all have to take that leap of faith, why not do it now?”
So I made my account with Snap Deal and ordered an ethnic jewellery set online, just as a try. Placing orders were swift and smooth and without any impediments. My product arrived in just a few days and I was glad that I took that leap. I loved it!
But I could not contain my excitement anymore, broke my vow, and let it out to her the day before the package arrived. She was so surprised and excited and hugged me for my consideration and thought!
Without any delay, I got her something she loves a lot- Ethnic Jewellery. I must confess I had a hard time selecting the set for her from all those numerous varieties and price ranges, and not to mention got an incredible discount too! I didn’t even have to worry about my wallet! The gift arrived soon in a sturdy packaging and I packed it in colourful wrapping paper and placed it outside her bedroom door so that it’s the first thing she sees when she wakes up! The look, the gasp that that she gave as she opened the package and the hugs and kisses I got, made me so happy!
I was really glad that I took that leap and tried out something new. If I hadn’t, I never would have gotten her such lovely jewellery and I got to try out something so new to me. My sister is my best friend and thanks to Snap Deal (and their lovely discounts) I was able to make her extra special!
