Bold, bright and quirky. That is what the nail lacquers of VOID’s fall season has been about. Earlier, I had reviewed 4 of their beautiful summer shades and today I am going to review two gorgeous shades from their Fall collection called Envy which is a rich mixture of moss and emerald green and Silver Lining which is a shiny brilliant shade of silver.
I have enjoyed using these Vegan, Cruelty free nail lacquers which are free from five harmful chemicals;Formaldehyde, DBP, Toluene, Formaldehyde Resin and Camphor which harm the nervous system and are carcinogenic.
Green nail lacquers have never appealed much to me but after I used JUST LET GO, which is a very pretty pastel shade of bright green from VOID, I tried on Envy and they both changed my mind about wearing green as a possible hue on the nails.
What I really liked about Envy was its rich, thick consistency which only needed two coats and the colour was built. This colour looked great with dark denims and brown leather coats. It dried really quick and lasted for a long time, without the base and top coat.
A layer of top coat gives the shade a boost and the colour becomes more eye-catching and luxuriant.
About Silver Lining-
I had never used a silver coloured nail polish before as the shades never really had the kick or the vibrancy which I had always hoped for.
I became hooked with Void’s Silver Lining because of its strong glittery metallic shade which gave the colour the boost it required. One coat was all that was required to gain the perfect, smooth starry finish. The pigmentation is just so beautifully luxurious.
It is perfect for a vast array of outfits. Be it a fun floral summer or spring frock or top, a casual white shirt with denim jeans or the staple Little Black Dress. This colour is sure to rock them all!
